To get started, we are going to need to design a grid. I am just throwing a size out there, but I posit that we will want to have: Table space with enough width to place 2.5 "32 x 32 base plates", the maximum/minimum width here is critical, as we want a user experience where a user can stand and easily interact with any corner of the lego city We know that we will have rail cars, and plan to have multiple levels, including an underground subway at a later time For starters we will state that a block in our city is approximately five 32 x 32 base plates wide, allowing a rich user experience, and storage on shelves if table space is of a premium   The first building we are placing will be a Town hall.
